The vision of a community trail was started by our dedicated and visionary leaders years ago. The Colfax Greenway Citizens Committee seeks to move the needle on turning an unused rail line through our small, rural community into a multi use community rail trail. A trail that would provide an alternative, safe corridor for people to move from one end of town to the other. To bring the Lake Street Greenway Trail project to life.

Partnership

Working together with the City of Colfax, Friends of the Parks, The Chamber of Commerce, The Downtown Association, The Arts Council, The Whitman County Hospital and volunteers to move this forward.

Advocacy

Colfax needs this trail to provide a safe corridor for kids to walk to school. We need this trail to add a beautiful place to walk or ride without being next to a highway.
