About Us

Colfax Washington is a small rural community in the heart of wheat country, known as the Palouse. We have miles of gravel roads if you want to come ride your bike here. There are also unused rail road tracks we would love to convert to a trail, running right through our fair city. Its a trail just waiting to be built!

Colfax Greenway Trail Citizens Committee is a group dedicated to cementing a better future for Colfax. Founded in 2020, we have fought for impactful changes on the local and state levels to create a trail on the existing rail line along Lake street in downtown Colfax. We strive to help  leaders move this project from dream to reality, and to educate and empower others to take action. We are working to create a beautiful, shared trail, a transportation corridor and enhance the quality of life in Colfax.

We meet once a month in Colfax to try to advance this dream. What brings us together is our dedication toward our common goal, The Colfax Greenway Trail.  But we can’t do it without your help. Get in touch to see how you can get involved and increase our impact.
